My Story

Wow, does time ever fly! It feels like just a few months ago I published a post, and yet looking at my timeline I see it’s been over a year.

Where have I been and what have I been doing?

I’m still in Calgary, now in the third year of my PhD. program. This past year was a big one, from developing my big research project, to presenting at several conferences, and now collecting data for my project, The Chemo-Gut study.

IPOS 2019

I even had the honor of being featured in a story by the Kids Cancer Care Foundation. More on that can be found Here

KCCF 2019

I’m going to keep this post short and sweet, but I did want to share with you something very special to me that I recently made: My Digital Story. I want to say a huge thank you to Mike Lang Stories for helping me to create this, and to my dear friend Albina for giving my story a voice.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did creating it!

In the mean time, I will try to be more productive with posting recipes and research. Anything in particular you would like to learn about in the context of cancer, mental health, and nutrition?

Julie
